The Drop-Off Spot

 Atonement has a central location where you can donate items used for various ministries. This area is call The Drop-Off Spot and in located in the hallway area north of the Atonement Nursery. Look for the signs!

Harvesters is no longer accepting egg cartons. 
Please do not bring them to The Drop-Off Spot.

   1. Please only drop off items that are listed as needs.
   2. Please put items into the appropriate bin
   3. Please help up keep the area neat and organized  

  • NEWSPAPERS & OFFICE PAPER-You can take these to the large green recycling dumpster on the north side of the church parking lot. All proceeds benefit missions.
  • GENTLY USED ITEMS-Blessings Abound Thrift Store (9260 Nall, Overland Park) They take clothes, furniture, books, toys, household goods including small appliances & furniture. Please do not leave donations for Blessings Abound at Atonement.
  • LEFTOVER FOOD FROM CHURCH EVENTS-Atonement has a ‘Leftover Food Ministry’ in which food is recycled from events. Please contact Ruth Ahlrichs 913-648-0618 for more info.




Thanksgiving is a time when we remember God’s plea to share with those who are hungry. Our two-fold request will benefit MLM & the Valley View’s Hope Chest.Pickup a small brown sack for donations to MLM. Pickup a large brown sack asking for non-perishable food items for Valley View Hope Chest.
Sacks & collection site are found at the Drop-Off Spot.
MLM’s Christmas Store is a way for poverty-stricken families to have a nice Christmas. Donated gifts should be NEW and unwrapped. Suggestions for most needed gifts are on the ornaments hanging on the tree in the narthex.
