Investment Opportunity
Invest in this year’s Mano Amiga TripOnce again, the youth mission team is offering a unique opportunity to become a shareholder in their 2011 Mano Amiga Mission Trip to Piedras Negras, Mexico. Each share will help the Atonement Youth Mission team put roofs on 5-6 houses, deliver food to families, provide community meals and provide a daily kid’s club for children in the community.
Suggested price per share is $40; however, any donation is gladly welcomed. Shareholders will receive updates from the trip, an invitation to the shareholders lunch/report and most of all, the joy of seeing their investment change lives.
There is no limit to shares purchased. We encourage a “friendly takeover.” We are looking to raise $12,000 through this year’s public offering. Shares will be available during services on the weekends of February 19-20, 26-27 and March 5-6. You can also send a check to Atonement (attn. Scott McDonald) or place a check in the Sunday morning offering. Just write “Youth Mexico” in the memo line. We’ll make sure you are added to our shareholder’s list.
*There is no guarantee of monetary dividends. Dividends come in the form of changed lives in the people of Piedras Negras and those students and adults from Atonement who give their Spring Break to serve.
NEW INFORMATION: The Spring Break Trip to Mexico has been cancelled due to safety concerns near the border. The youth are still taking donations for Mano Amiga and will send them to Pastor Juan so the roofs and food can be built and delivered. The youth will also get the chance to serve for another cause. We will be taking our Spring Break Trip to Mississippi to help with the continuing efforts to clean up after Hurricane Katrina. We will leave Saturday and come back Friday. Thank you for all of your continued support. Refunds for Stock holders is avaliable but donations made will still go to Mano Amiga.
