Caring Ministry News

“Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.“

PRAYER

Dear Lord, Your Word calls us to hunger and thirst for righteousness — a righteousness that leads to compassion for the poor and a renewing of minds. Lead us to this kind of faith that works to make a better world for all Your children. Amen

Messages of the Day

From: A Daily Spiritual Seed
phil@shalomplace.com

We are all pencils in the hand of a writing God, who is sending love letters to the world.
- St. Teresa of Calcutta (1910-1997).
(What message will you write with your life this day?)

Christ crucified and risen is Lord of all; all the forces in the universe, well-disposed and ill-disposed, are subject to Him. To be united to Christ by faith is to throw off the thralldom of hostile powers, to enjoy perfect freedom, to gain the mastery over the dominion of evil, because Christ’s victory is ours.
 - F. F. Bruce (1910-1990), The Apostolic Defense of the Gospel
("I can do all things though Christ who strengthens me." Phil. 4:13. Claim His victory this day.)
