The Council has scheduled a Congregational Meeting on Sunday, September 10th, at noon for the purpose of voting to extend a call to Reverend Jordan Stone. All members of Atonement are strongly encouraged to attend and cast their vote. Rev. Susan Langhauser will be present to observe and certify the meeting on behalf of the Central States Synod.
Rev. Stone will be at Atonement to preach the weekend of September 2-3 and will hold a “Q & A” session at 9:45am on September 3rd in the Gathering Place. She has received a unanimous vote of confidence from the Call Committee and the Council to be presented as our final candidate at this point. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide us in ministry together.
