Lent and Easter

Identity: Exploring Who We Really Are in the Presence of I AM.

Join us this Lenten season on our journey toward Easter as we explore the intersection of our identity and God’s divinity. Each week, we bring our honest questions of Who am I? to the one who answers with a definitive I AM, discovering that our greatest needs are met in God’s eternal character.

Come as you are and experience the love, grace, and new life found in Christ.

Midweek Lenten Offerings

Atonement’s Midweek Lenten offerings will go to support the ELCA Global AMMPARO Migrant Ministry to assist migrants when they are on the move and as they resettle. AMMPARO is part of the ELCA’s strategy to “Accompany Migrants with Protection, Advocacy, Representation and Opportunities.” This strategy informs the ELCA’s holistic, whole-church response to migration and supporting those forced to flee their communities, accompanying them today and in the future.

7:00 PM (In person and livestreamed)

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, a season of reflection and renewal as we prepare our hearts for Easter. In this service, we remember both our human frailty and God’s deep mercy, receiving ashes as a sign of repentance and hope. Whether Lent is a familiar journey or something new for you, Ash Wednesday offers a meaningful opportunity to pause, pray, and begin this season rooted in grace. We invite you to join us as we turn toward the cross and the promise of resurrection.

(Worship includes imposition of ashes and Holy Communion.)
